Our presenter this month is Brian Mitchell with Silver Companions. Silver Companions is licensed by the GA Department of Community Health to provide personal care and companion sitting services.

Brian earned a professional gerontology certification in 2009, as well as training in CPR, Fire & Safety, Fall Prevention and Alzheimer’s & Dementia care. He has passion for helping and working with those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s & Dementia or related disorders. Brian loves utilizing his training using the “Best Friends” approach to working with clients afflicted with different levels of memory loss, including dementia care.

She represented our community in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2005 to 2012. She was named the 2007 Biotechnology Innovator Organization National Legislator of the Year.

The North Georgia Angel House has been serving Georgia’s youth since 2006 providing shelter, life skills, educational assistance, and clinical services to give our youth the best shot at a successful future.
