Entrepreneurship through Acquisition
April 25, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA) Program focuses on buying a business for a start-up or to grow an existing business
Starting a business from scratch isn’t the only path to entrepreneurship – a rapidly growing trend is entrepreneurship through acquisition. It’s also an alternative way to grow an existing business. Whether you are interested in becoming a small business owner or are an existing business owner looking to grow through acquisition, this program is for you!
UGA SBDC at Kennesaw State is hosting the Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA) program on Tuesday, April 25 at the KSU Center. Designed for those who want to start a business or grow an existing one, this program will demonstrate that buying a business is an exciting path to entrepreneurship and it can be far less risky and easier to finance than starting one.
Acquisition professionals and entrepreneurs who have successfully acquired a company will discuss:
- the search process
- assessing and valuing targets
- dealing with sellers
- financing the deal
- due diligence
- post-acquisition issues
- franchising: an alternative path to ETA
- what to expect the first 100 days
Who should attend: Anyone interested in buying a business or existing business owners looking to grow their business
Cost: $99 per attendee includes breakfast, networking lunch and all materials (Limited Seating Available).
