Speaker: Kit Cummings – Author, Coach and Teacher
Topic: Kit will tell his remarkable story and how he came to found the Power of Peace Project

Born and raised in Atlanta, Kit earned a BBA in Marketing from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia, and he also holds a Master of Theology. Kit founded Power of Peace Productions, Inc. and brings his experience working in some of the most dangerous areas in the world, to bring about organizational change in corporations, schools, and the faith-based community. Using humor and inspiration as the catalyst, Kit has challenged people to aim higher in places as far away as Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, and journeyed on speaking tours through South Africa, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and Ukraine.

Thank you again to everyone who supported our scholarship fundraising efforts especially CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE, our title sponsor. We were able to award 9 scholarships this year to seniors at Etowah, River Ridge and Woodstock High Schools. A special thank you to the Woodstock Rotary for their collaboration allowing 2 additional scholarships to be awarded.

After a busy month of celebrations for graduates, June brings a chance for more relaxing with family and community activities. One important event in our community is the Towne Lake Business Association Lunch ‘N’ Learn. We may be enjoying more leisure time but business continues and so does making new connections.
